Summer trips are often associated with knowing new animals. Often these are the fish, saltwater fish and freshwater fish. Those in the wild and in aquariums. If your children have been fascinated by the colorful fish from warmer regions of the world, you can do your own fish to hang in the kid's room.
Craft supplies needed to make egg carton fish
To this art project for kids we need really little craft supplies:
- one or more egg cartons,
- utility knife,
- white glue to the tree and paper (eg. PVA glue),
- paint brush
- and paint (eg. poster paint or acrylic paint).
The first step of the craft requires our involvement. Adults should help young kids in cutting all the elements: cup sections for bodies and fish's fins. Use the utility knife to cut four cup sections (one fish) from the egg carton. Two cups will serve as a body, one as a tail, and one will be used to cut the fins.
When you cut all the elements , children can begin to stick cups, for example, according to previously prepared copy. In our case, almost five year old son got glued bodies, fish tail and dorsal fin, leaving me the finer elements. Having 3.5 years old daughter got glued only bodies and tail.
Painting is already creativity of each fish producers. No fish does not repeat itself!
